There are plenty of fun activities to participate in at Gemini!
Athletics
Gemini participates in almost every intramural sport offered. We compete against fraternities, residence halls, and other men's cooperative houses. Athletics are a great way to build house pride as well as relieve stress after a busy day of classes and studying.
Grand Prix
Gemini participates each year in Purdue's Grand Prix race, held the Saturday before finals week during the spring semester. Any house member wishing to be part of the team is a welcome addition to our crew. The Gemini racing team moved into a new 12'x16' kart shed for the 2011 racing season thanks to alumni and team sponsor donations.
Social Events
Football: Each season we attend home football games with our football buddies. Our 2013 football buddies were the ladies of Twin Pines Cooperative. Boiler Up!
Barndance: The annual barndance is always a fun time and continues to be one of the main events of the fall.
Superbowl: Everyone is invited to the house to watch Super Bowl XLVI on our big-screen while enjoying some greasy hot wings!
Ski Trip: Normally held towards the end of February. Potential future house members are welcome to tag along. This trip is normaly held near Kalamazoo, Michigan and is a good time for current members and future members to meet each other and have a fun weekend.
Formal: In the Spring Semester, we travel to Indy or Chicago for an overnight formal dance.
The Hill: The massive slope behind the house is used for our famous slip-n-slide during the summer, and as a great sledding hill in the winter.
Float Trip: Every Summer we grab a bunch of tubes and make a day of floating down the local Wildcat Creek. Always a blast!
